We are seeking a Senior or Principal Consultant to join our Environmental Consents team in London, supporting airport expansion projects through environmental planning, EIA, and related technical studies.Key Responsibilities:Managing environmental inputs into aviation projects, including planning applications, EIA, and airspace change proposals.Delivering environmental assessments, including screening, scoping, and environmental management plans.Building and maintaining client relationships, supporting business development activities.Leading project tasks, managing teams, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.Promoting innovative approaches such as Digital EIA and Technical Excellence.Mentoring junior staff and fostering an inclusive team environment.Qualifications and Experience:Relevant environmental degree and professional status (e.g., IEMA membership).Experience in undertaking EIA for aviation schemes under UK planning regimes.Strong project coordination, communication, and report writing skills.Why Join Us?WSP offers a flexible, inclusive, and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth, work-life balance, and health and wellbeing initiatives.
