Senior Operations (NHS Service) Manager - NHS Location: London Contract: 6 months initially, with opportunity for extension Salary: NHS Band 8a - Agenda for Change rates Hours: Full-time MLC Partners are recruiting for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join a London-based NHS organisation on an initial six-month contract. This is a senior operational management role, providing leadership and oversight across a portfolio of clinical services. You will work closely with Service Managers, clinical leadership and the wider divisional management team to maintain grip on operational delivery, improve performance and support service development. Key responsibilities Provide senior operational leadership and line management to Service Managers, ensuring services are effectively managed and operational issues are resolved quickly. Drive delivery against key NHS performance standards, including RTT, cancer and emergency care/access targets. Maintain oversight of operational performance, workforce, budgets and service delivery, identifying and addressing areas of underperformance. Lead on demand and capacity, patient flow and access improvement, using performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Support financial delivery, including budget management, productivity, efficiency, income generation and delivery of CIP/QIP schemes.
