Senior Network Engineer (AWS and Python)

Senior Network Engineer 6 months London/Hybrid £580-£630 per day (Inside IR35) Initially 4 days per week onsite, reducing to 2 days per week onsite over time.My client in the financial sector are seeking 2 Senior Network Engineers to join a global engineering team supporting a sophisticated, business-critical trading platform.The organisation operates a complex global technology estate, with network infrastructure connecting data centres, offices, cloud environments and critical trading services. Network availability, resilience, security and low-latency performance are fundamental to its operations.This is a hands-on senior engineering position offering significant technical ownership across a global production network environment. You will be responsible for network operations, incident management, infrastructure changes, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.A particular focus will be network automation, using technologies such as Python and Ansible to improve configuration consistency, validation and operational efficiency.You will work closely with engineering colleagues across London and New York, helping maintain global engineering standards and providing follow-the-Sun coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of day-to-day network engineering and operations across global sites, data centres and cloud environments.Support and maintain highly available, business-critical network infrastructure.Troubleshoot complex network issues across routing, switching, ..... full job details .....
