Senior Network Engineer (12 month FTC)

Senior Network Engineer (12 month Fixed Term Contract)Hybrid working: 3 days per week required in the office in City of London.The role will take responsibility for all operational monitoring, support and administration of my clients global 24x7 mission critical IT systems.Responsibilities: - Take the lead on network and network security operations - Daily System Monitoring of network systems and key processes - Reviewing system and application logs - Perform regular performance monitoring - Liaison with 3rd party suppliers on system issues - Operational responsibility for the network, WAN and Internet connections. - Update BCP/DR documentation and topologies for network layers - Identify opportunities for automation and monitoring - SolarWinds/Ansible etc - Ensure network security and architecture/design, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with security standards.Required Skills/Experience: - Demonstratable experience of working within a senior technical network engineering position - Strong experience in Cisco network infrastructure (routing protocols, switching, IP Addressing, MPLS, LAN/WAN) - Experience with next generation Firewalls including IPS and sandboxing - Checkpoint, Zscaler - Experience in network load balancing - NetScaler - Experience in network segmentation - Experience is Wifi networks - Experience in Cisco ISE/NAC - Desirable - Cisco SD-WAN - Desirable - CCNP certifiedSenior Network Engineer (12 month Fixed Term ..... full job details .....
