Senior Messaging Engineer | Global Banking Organisation 6 month contract | London based 4 days in office £735 per day inside IR35 The Microsoft 365 Messaging andamp; Collaboration SME will lead the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of the organisation''s Microsoft 365 collaboration environment. The role is the technical authority across Exchange Online, Teams, Copilot, Intune, Purview, Defender for Office 365 and Proofpoint, ensuring services are secure, resilient, scalable and compliant. Responsibilities include platform modernisation, leading complex technical initiatives, working with Architecture and Security teams, and providing Tier 3 technical escalation and support. Key Responsibilities: Lead the engineering, optimisation and ongoing development of Microsoft 365 Messaging andamp; Collaboration services. Design and support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and wider Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions. Define technical standards, best practices and platform roadmaps. Lead migrations, tenant optimisation and Microsoft 365 transformation projects. Manage email security using Defender for Office 365, Exchange Online Protection and Proofpoint. Implement Microsoft Purview controls including DLP, retention, eDiscovery and information protection. Maintain secure email authentication using SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
