Salary: -33,000 - -37,000 per annum
Location: Lambeth North, London (relocating to London Bridge)
Working Pattern: Full-time, 35 hours per week | Hybrid Working
We''re recruiting on behalf of a respected international membership organisation and educational charity that supports maritime professionals worldwide. Its work spans professional membership, training, accreditation, events, publications and research, helping to shape the future of a vital global industry.
The Role
As Senior Administrator, Membership & Branches, you will play a key role in supporting a membership community of more than 14,000 professionals worldwide. Working closely with colleagues across the UK and overseas, as well as external suppliers, you will help ensure membership services, renewals, communications and member benefits are delivered efficiently and accurately
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the quarterly membership renewal process, including payment runs, direct debits and renewal administration.
- Maintain accurate membership records and databases.
- Produce membership reports, statistics and analytics to support decision-making.
- Provide membership data to third-party suppliers and service providers.
- Respond to member enquiries via phone and email, delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Support the administration and delivery of member benefits and services.
- Liaise with internal teams and international colleagues to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and administrative procedures.
About You
We''re looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
You''ll ideally have:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative, membership, customer service or operational support role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience maintaining databases and producing reports.
- Confidence working with CRM systems and digital tools.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Mailchimp, Canva, Eventbrite or SurveyMonkey would be advantageous.
