To achieve this, they need to enhance their media presence and visibility among target audiences.The OpportunityAs Senior Media and Communications Manager, you will be a vital part of their award-winning team, increasing their profile through mainstream media and specialist press, particularly focusing on their banking and financial services arm that offers innovative financial products for charity partners. This year is crucial as they initiate a major change and transformation program to re-platform their banking technology, with this role leading the communications for this project.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement external communications, media engagement, and reputation management strategies for the charity and its banking arm.Identify media opportunities to enhance brand visibility and influence policymakers.Plan and execute communication activities for key projects, such as report launches or new product introductions.Manage the press office to ensure credible, professional, and timely media relations, including media monitoring.Create engaging content by translating technical issues into accessible newsworthy stories.Protect and enhance the corporate reputation by proactively managing issues and risks, and minimizing negative attention.Advise senior stakeholders, including the CEO, on external communications, issue management, and crisis communications.Key Skills RequiredProven experience in media relations, PR strategies, issue management, and crisis communications, preferably within financial services or regulated sectors, or from an agency working with financial clients.Excellent writing and content creation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex concepts ..... full job details .....
