Rather than managing a section of the works, you'll be the senior mechanical point of contact for the client, consultants and internal team, bringing technical delivery, programme management, procurement, commercial control, team leadership and client management together under one remit. Your decisions will directly shape programme, margin, quality and client satisfaction, and you'll lead project managers, construction managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers — a scale of team leadership and accountability beyond what you'll typically have had before.
