Senior Mechanical Fitter, Machinist

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, Machinist to join a busy mechanical engineering workshop. You will be involved in the manufacture and repair of components using manual (non-CNC) lathes, milling machines, and vertical borers, with occasional on-site work. Key Responsibilities Manual turning, milling, and boring of mechanical components Mechanical fitting and repair work Workshop-based role with occasional site visits Participation in overtime and on-call rota Ongoing training and skills development Requirements Time-served machinist with strong manual machining experience Background in conventional lathes, milling or boring machines NC and CNC experience beneficial but not essential Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with varied ..... full job details .....
