Pricing design-and-build mechanical packages typically valued between £500,000 and £3 million. Reviewing drawings, specifications, tender documentation and employer’s requirements. Completing accurate material and labour take-offs. Producing enquiries for suppliers and specialist subcontract packages. Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations. Building competitive tender prices covering labour, materials, plant and specialist packages. Identifying value engineering opportunities, commercial risks, qualifications and exclusions. Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process. Managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission. Attending site visits, tender meetings and project clarification meetings where required. Providing a clear handover to the commercial and project delivery teams following successful tenders.
