Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Warwick, specialising in the design and manufacture of automated machinery for the pharmaceutical, medical device and FMCG industries.This is a senior position within the Project Delivery team, offering the opportunity to lead complex engineering workstreams, provide technical direction across multiple projects and mentor junior engineers. You will play a key role in delivering innovative automation equipment from early concept through to installation and customer handover.The RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of complex mechanical engineering work packages and provide technical leadership across projects.Key responsibilities will include:Leading concept development, feasibility studies and early-stage engineering projectsOwning complex mechanical design packages, assemblies and detailed engineering solutionsLeading design reviews, FMEA, reverse builds and technical analysisIdentifying and managing technical and commercial risksOverseeing procurement, supplier management and technical queriesLeading testing strategies, structured problem solving and root cause analysisReviewing and approving project documentationLeading qualification and validation activities, including protocol execution and reportingManaging engineering changes, impact assessments and document controlSupporting RAMS, shipping, installation and customer site ..... full job details .....
