With a strong reputation for delivering sustainable, high-quality engineering solutions across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, this consultancy continues to grow and is now looking to strengthen its mechanical team.This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced engineer to take a leading role in project delivery while also supporting and mentoring junior staff while also focused on winning work.The Role

You will work as part of a dynamic MEP team on a variety of technically complex and sustainable projects, from concept through to handover. The role will involve hands-on design work, client engagement, team coordination, and contributing to strategic growth.Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, public health, and domestic waterManage projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, residential, and educationMentor and support junior engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedbackEngage with clients and design teams, presenting design ideas and technical solutionsEnsure projects meet technical standards, deadlines, and client expectationsContribute to continuous improvement of design processes and team developmentTake an active role in driving quality and innovation within the businessWhat You''ll Bring

Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years'' experience in mechanical design, ideally in a consultancy settingIn-depth knowledge of mechanical systems design (HVAC, hot/cold water, drainage)Comfortable leading projects and coordinating with clients and internal teamsStrong communication and presentation skillsA proactive, problem-solving mindset and a high level of attention to detailChartered or working towards Chartership (CEng/CIBSE/IMechE) preferredWhat''s on Offer
