Senior Mechanical Engineer

A leading MEP Consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead project delivery within their Bristol office. The Role You will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering team and delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions across a variety of sectors. System Design: Lead the design of complex HVAC systems, plant room layouts, LTHW heating, chilled water systems, and public health services. Sustainability Focus: Provide technical advice on renewable energy integration and perform qualitative analysis of energy data and trends. Project Management: Oversee project specific deliverables and ensure design Quality Assurance (QandA) in accordance with BSRIA and CIBSE guidelines. Technical Oversight: Undertake site surveys, evaluate tender documentation, and inspect building works for compliance with current regulations. Collaboration: Coordinate with electrical leads and design partners to provide fully integrated MEP solutions. The Ideal Candidate Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Building Services design. Affiliation: Member of CIBSE (Chartered or actively working towards status).
