The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take responsibility for the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects, working closely with colleagues across different offices. You will oversee engineers and technicians, provide mentoring and training, and manage project workflows in line with internal quality standards. Over time, you will also gain exposure to fee proposals, project financials, and business development activities.Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design projects from feasibility to completion and handoverCarry out surveys, feasibility studies, and detailed design workPrepare specifications and oversee installation of servicesProvide on-site supervision and contract administrationManage and mentor junior team members, ensuring technical excellenceContribute to quality assurance processes and project milestonesAbout You
Essential:Degree in a relevant engineering discipline3-5 years'' experience in building services mechanical designStrong knowledge of design software and AutoCADExperience managing and mentoring junior staffProject experience across a variety of sectorsExcellent organisational and communication skillsCompetent with Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licence and own transportDesirable:Familiarity with Revit and design/modelling software (training provided)Benefits
