About the Role

My client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Building Services team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors.

You''ll lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services solutions, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building services design across multiple projects.
• Produce technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Attend project and design team meetings.
• Support sustainable and low-carbon design initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience within a building services consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services design.
• Experience delivering projects across all RIBA stages.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable.
