Senior Mechanical Engineer Building Services

Are you a senior Mechanical Engineer in Building Service Design and looking to work on some exciting projects? Do you want a contract role with variety? You could work for a leading Building Services contractor, with a national presence with the following details; Location: Liverpool (1x a week in the office) Rate: Up to £50 per hour (Inside IR35) Duration: 12 months + Key Responsibilities Deliver mechanical design for major construction projects Produce high-quality designs, specifications, and technical solutions Work closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams Coordinate designs across disciplines (MandE, BIM, etc.) Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality procedures Support cost planning, estimates, and pre-construction activities Contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions Support and mentor junior engineers where required Requirements Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering CIBSE / IMechE member (or working towards Chartership) Strong experience in building services design (HVAC / MEP) Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects Knowledge of BIM, Revit, and design coordination Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why Join?
