Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services Location: Manchester Job Type: Full-timeThe Opportunity A leading engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Manchester team.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on a range of interesting building services projects across sectors including commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, data centres, infrastructure, manufacturing and technology.You''ll be involved in project delivery from design through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines.The Role Your responsibilities will include:Delivering mechanical design work from initial brief through to completion.Producing mechanical calculations, drawings and technical documentation.Ensuring designs meet relevant regulations, standards and client requirements.Coordinating mechanical design with other MEP disciplines and consultants.Reviewing contractor and subcontractor information.Carrying out site visits and checking installations against the design.Attending design, client and project meetings.Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.Managing your own workload and delivering work to agreed deadlines.Taking responsibility for smaller projects or the mechanical discipline on larger schemes.Making technical decisions and taking ownership of project delivery.Delegating and checking work completed by other engineers.Supporting and mentoring ..... full job details .....
