Senior Mechanical Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Designer based in Birchwood, Warrington.

As a Senior Mechanical Designer your responsibilities will include:

Production of computer aided design drawings from concept level through to manufacturing detail, meeting relevant standards and specifications.

Ensuring design deliverables meet required standards of accuracy and quality, that all drawings are appropriately verified and performing verification of colleagues'' drawings.

Deliver mechanical work scope, production and checking, reporting to a Principal Engineer

Produce detail drawings using Inventor / AutoCAD software (including familiarity with Inventor Vault), including GA''s, manufacturing details, Layout drawings

Modify and update existing drawings and diagrams as the design matures during testing and manufacture.


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification to HNC Standard as a minimum in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
Knowledge of Autodesk Products (AutoCAD, Inventor, RECAP) plus other 3D systems
Competent working within standards and procedures (BS 8888).
Experience of working within a highly regulated industry


SC Security Clearance is required for this role.
If not already held, applicants must be eligible for Security Clearance (British Citizen with British Passport and not have worked outside the UK for the past 5 years)
