Senior Mechanical Designer Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to join an established engineering team based in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong designer to take a leading role in developing mechanical designs, coordinating projects and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of mechanical systems from concept through to completion. Produce detailed engineering drawings, layouts and technical documentation. Undertake design calculations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Coordinate with electrical designers, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders. Review designs to ensure technical accuracy, buildability and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers. Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to resolve design queries. Attend design meetings and support project delivery. Ensure designs meet project specifications, programme requirements and quality standards. Identify opportunities to improve design processes and engineering efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in a Mechanical Design role within an engineering or building services environment. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and relevant industry standards.
