We are partnering with an exciting audio technology company in Kent that is expanding its engineering team.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing high-volume consumer products, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team of Mechanical, Electronics, Firmware and Manufacturing Engineers.The RoleYou will take ownership of mechanical product development throughout the full product life cycle, from a blank sheet of paper through concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, validation and into high-volume manufacture. You''ll work closely with Electronics, Firmware, Technicians and Manufacturing teams to ensure products are innovative, reliable and designed for efficient production while maintaining ISO quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new audio products.Lead projects through the complete product life cycle, from concept to production.Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation.Design plastic components for injection moulding and high-volume manufacture.Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles throughout the design process.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate mechanical, electronic and ..... full job details .....
