Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Client Overview Our client is hiring for growth purposes, following their continued good work as a reputable design and manufacturing organisation. The role of Senior Design Engineer is a crucial part of the engineering function; this opening has a fair amount of scope due to their being several areas within the business that could benefit from an experienced Design Engineer joining the team. Job Responsibilities Responsible for both conceptual and bespoke re-designs Compiling parts lists and maintaining drawing records, following technical office procedures Handling several projects simultaneously and supporting the design function on larger group projects Occasional site visits with customers both new and old across the UK and overseas Liaising with suppliers Skill Required Mechanical Engineering Degree (BEng or Meng) Full product life cycle design experience (ideally over 7 years in industry) Industry experience within machinery design (conveyors, bearing, mechanisms etc) Full UK Manual or Automatic Licence Compensation and Other Benefits Salary 50,000 to 60,000 per annum + Benefits Private Healthcare, Life Assurance and more In-House Training and opportunity to develop professionally Flexible working arrangements available Please note that our clients are unable to offer sponsorship for employment visas.
