Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Leeds, Yorkshire 60,000 - 65,000 per annum (depending on experience) Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity: An established building services design consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Leeds-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of technically demanding building projects, supporting schemes from the initial design and concept stages through to detailed design and delivery. The successful candidate will provide high-level mechanical building services expertise while working closely with project leaders, engineers, external consultants and other members of the wider design team. The position would suit an experienced engineer with a strong technical understanding of mechanical building services and the ability to apply sound engineering judgement to complex project requirements. The Role: As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take responsibility for the mechanical design elements of assigned projects, ensuring that solutions are technically accurate, coordinated, practical and delivered to the required quality standards. You will produce calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports, while contributing to project planning, quality assurance and the development of less experienced engineers.
