Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week, permanent A well-established design and manufacturing company operating for over 40 years. From servicing and upgrading worn out machinery in the food industry and bespoke processing lines for the chilled foods sector and injection systems. The company is located in Stockport in the North West of England, only a 15-minute drive from Manchester Airport. We are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The Role: You will quickly be a key member of the technical team where you will manage specialist design projects from concept to completion, having full involvement from technical consultation and customer interaction, right through to producing detailed designs and overseeing projects through manufacturing. This role would suit a mechanical design engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a challenging and varied role with further development on offer.
