This opportunity has arisen due to both expansion and an upcoming retirement, making it a genuinely rare senior-level opening.Your new roleAs the Mechanical Design Lead, you will take responsibility for delivering and overseeing mechanical building services design across a varied project portfolio.Your role will include: Leading mechanical design work, from concept through to delivery Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports Coordinating with internal teams, architects, and contractors Supporting tenders, proposals, and technical submissions Mentoring and developing junior/intermediate engineers Helping to shape and grow an expanding design team You will be based in the office full-time, working within a close-knit and supportive technical team.What you''ll need to succeedYou will have a strong background in mechanical building services design and the confidence to take technical ownership.
