Our client, a forward-thinking global events and media company, is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join their team on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent. About the Role:
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of marketing strategy and execution across a high-profile portfolio, including international events, a digital publication, and investor relations campaigns. Reporting to the Portfolio Head of Marketing and leading a small international team, you''ll be responsible for driving revenue, attendance and brand engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to meet commercial and audience growth targets
- Manage a small team (based in London and Hong Kong) and support their professional development
- Own and optimise marketing budgets and campaign performance metrics
- Drive brand positioning and value proposition across events, content and services
- Oversee the delivery of all marketing outputs, including email, paid media, social, website and content marketing
- Leverage content from the group''s digital platform as a lead generation engine
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global sales, content, and digital teams to align messaging and campaigns
- Report on KPIs and provide insight-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to long-term portfolio strategy and innovation initiatives
About You:
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles - ideally within B2B events, media or a relevant sector
- Background or strong interest in natural resources, energy or mining advantageous
- Demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex, high-performing campaigns
- Confident working with data, budgets, and reporting tools
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude - able to adapt quickly in fast-moving environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Passionate about brand development and audience engagement
