Senior Marketing Executive (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: -33,000 to -35,000
Location: East Grinstead, RH19 1UA (Hybrid - 1-2 days in the office)
Working pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Club

The Caravan and Motorhome Club gives more than one million members access to nearly 2,700 places to stay across the UK and Europe. Alongside that choice of locations, the Club shares its knowledge and expertise to help members get the most out of caravanning and motorhoming.

The role

This is a 12-month fixed term contract for a CRM-focused Senior Marketing Executive to deliver multi-channel campaigns for the Club''s UK and Overseas accommodation. You will report to the UK and Overseas Marketing Manager and work with product managers, the wider marketing team and external agencies.

You will help develop and put into practice the Club''s CRM strategy. That means identifying key member segments and finding chances for personalised communication that increase member engagement and help hit bookings targets. There are no direct reports.

What you''ll be doing

• Managing campaigns from brief to reporting across CRM, email, e-newsletter, the Club magazine, app push notifications and SMS, covering content, segmentation and deployment
• Working with Marketing Managers and product owners to agree priorities and recommend ways to improve marketing performance
• Creating marketing communication plans and working with channel owners to keep them on track and on deadline
• Writing and presenting marketing briefs for internal teams and external agencies
• Tracking campaign performance against agreed KPIs and recommending changes for future activity
• Working with the Club''s CRM agency to segment and target the member database with personalised, relevant messages
• Creating content across all channels, including copywriting and sourcing images
• Proofreading communications and checking details with product teams so everything is accurate
• Supporting budget management, including processing POs and invoices on time and recording spend accurately
• Making sure all activity follows brand guidelines and meets legal and regulatory requirements, including DPA, GDPR, PECR and ASA
• Contributing to market research and competitor analysis
• Helping with ad-hoc marketing projects in line with team priorities

What you''ll bring

• A degree in a related subject, or equivalent practical marketing or CRM experience
• At least 3 years'' experience delivering multi-channel B2C marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on CRM
• Experience running campaigns across a range of digital channels
• The ability to manage several campaigns at once, prioritise well and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and confidence with numbers, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into clear actions
• A well-organised approach, comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent copywriting skills and close attention to detail
• Ideally, some experience of the UK and overseas travel markets
• An interest in the outdoors, caravanning or motorhoming is welcome but not essential
