Senior Marine Systems EngineerFareham 50,000 - 65,000Permanent, Full-Time My client is seeking an experienced Senior Marine Systems Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled marine professional to play a key role in the specification, integration and detailed design of onboard vessel systems across a diverse range of marine projects. Working closely with engineers, production teams, suppliers and customers, you will be responsible for delivering robust, compliant and production-ready system designs, while supporting projects from concept through to build and commissioning. The Role As a Senior Marine Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, integration and documentation of a wide range of vessel systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements, regulatory standards and production needs. Key responsibilities will include:Specification and integration of primary mechanical and auxiliary marine systems, including:Propulsion systemsBilge systemsFire suppression systemsHydraulic systemsHVAC systemsDevelopment of cable and pipe routing layouts within Siemens NX master general arrangement modelsCreation and management of primary equipment listsProduction of PandIDs and associated engineering calculations in accordance with relevant classification society rules and engineering principlesSupporting the development and maintenance of MRP Bills of Materials (BOMs)Liaising with regulatory ..... full job details .....
