      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | The Opportunity We are working with a well-established London Market insurer to hire a Senior Marine Liability Underwriter to take ownership of a portfolio and lead a small underwriting team. This is a hands-on role combining technical underwriting, renewal strategy, broker relationship management, and delivery against a London Market business plan. The Role  Lead and line manage the Marine underwriting team Underwrite and manage a portfolio of accounts Drive renewal strategy Own the end-to-end underwriting process  Ensure accuracy of data and compliant documentation  Oversee issuance of debit notes and reinsurance purchases  Build strong broker relationships Use MI to drive commercial decisioning About You  Strong and broad London Market Marine Underwriting exposure Demonstrable experience owning a portfolio and delivering results.
