Senior Manufacturing Engineer Location: Hinckley Salary: 50,000 + Benefits Hours: 37.5 Per Week Pattern: Day Shift 4.5 Day Working Week Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to play a key role in new product introduction, operational improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic production environment. Key Responsibilities:Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operationsDrive the successful introduction of new products and programmes into productionDevelop and embed improved manufacturing methods to deliver sustainable business benefitsEstablish and maintain system policies associated with production lead timesManage and monitor Work in Progress (WIP) to meet operational requirementsSupport manufacturing activities internally and externally as requiredAct as a focal point to ensure production and new product activities are completed effectivelyParticipate in and lead Lean Manufacturing initiativesSupport inventory control strategies including FIFO, WIP reduction, and returnable container systemsEnsure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policiesWork collaboratively to achieve company goals and operational objectivesUndertake any additional duties reasonably required by the business Skills Required:Strong ..... full job details .....
