Senior Manufacturing Engineer

OverviewA forward-thinking engineering company working across motorsport, aerospace, marine, and automotive sectors is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead production planning and process optimisation from prototype through to full-scale manufacture. This role is based just outside of Oxford.Responsibilities

Develop factory layouts and production line setupsDefine assembly sequences, takt times, and resource planningLead prototype builds and support transition to productionImplement lean manufacturing practices and train techniciansOwn and maintain the Manufacturing BoM in ERP/MRP systemsDrive continuous improvement and support issue resolutionQualifications

Strong experience in manufacturing engineering within high-tech industries such as automotive, marine or aerospaceSkilled in layout design, lean principles, and process optimisationUnderstanding of takt time, HPP, and capacity planningExperience with ERP/MRP systems and BoM controlExcellent problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skillsBenefits
