Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer - Fife, ScotlandImportant: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance minimum 5 years UK residency The Senior NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer role will be focused on the execution of new product introductions on Circuit Card and mechanical assemblies. With a strong technical background in mechanical assembly processes, the NPI Engineer will ensure the successful introduction of new products into Manufacturing through the application of robust manufacturing principles and processes.Responsibilities:Focus on CCA and Unit Level assemblyTechnical and Manufacturing Eng. lead on NPI Builds, with ownership for the execution to agreed schedule and cost, and to required Quality standards and Manufacturing best practicesEngagement at all stages of the NPI process; from Bid and Proposal through execution of NPI Builds as a precursor to product release into full rate production.Active participation in DFM and "manufacturability" analyses and reportingUse manufacturing data to identify and address issuesUse data to drive Systemic Root Cause and Corrective ActionIdentify, expedite and / or escalate any quality or performance issuesIdentify skills training or development requirements and escalate through managementReport and maintain Manufacturing Engineering metrics, track performance against Team KPI and Individual Goals and ObjectivesEnsure metrics are used / responded to in order to optimize processesSupport the Program Cells and ..... full job details .....
