Senior Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Glasgow Contract: Permanent 37 Hours per WeekSenior Manufacturing Engineer - Shipbuilding and Manufacturing ExcellenceAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in delivering complex shipbuilding programmes on the Clyde. This position offers the chance to influence the future of manufacturing within a highly advanced engineering environment, driving improvements across production processes, facilities, tooling and manufacturing methods. You will work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain and production teams to ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate Manufacturing Engineering activities across major programmes.Develop and approve manufacturing methods, processes, facilities, tooling, equipment and work instructions.Influence product design to support Design for Manufacture and optimise operational capability.Support and manage facility investment projects from concept through to commissioning.Analyse manufacturing data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Plan, prioritise and coordinate engineering activities to meet programme requirements.Coach, mentor and support Manufacturing Engineering team members.What We''re Looking ForYou will have experience in one or more of the following areas:Manufacturing EngineeringProduction EngineeringProcess EngineeringMethod ..... full job details .....
