About the Role
The Senior Manual Machinist role is based in Manchester, offering a permanent position with a salary between £30,000 and £50,000 per annum. This workshop-based position involves manufacturing and repairing components using manual lathes, milling machines, and vertical borers, alongside mechanical fitting and repair work. Occasional on-site visits are required, along with participation in overtime and an on-call rota. The ideal candidate is a time-served machinist with strong manual machining experience on conventional lathes, milling, or boring machines. NC or CNC experience is beneficial but not essential. Reliability, adaptability, and comfort with varied workloads are key. Ongoing training and skills development are provided.
