Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition that will be primarily responsible for supporting the business and providing technical revenue accounting guidance/analysis in accordance with GAAP and Company policies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with great communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will work with various cross functional teams and report to the Director of Revenue Recognition.Job Responsibilities
Manage deal review communications between revenue team and Sales, Sales Operations, and Legal during contract negotiations and provide guidance and assistance to ensure proper revenue recognitionComplete monthly deal review checklists documenting key contract terms, noting any non-standard terms impacting revenue recognitionComplete month-end close activities and accurate reporting of key revenue data, including monthly customer reviews and analysis of changes to key accountsReview reconciliations and other key processes within the worldwide revenue and deferred revenue close processBuild and maintain controls to provide early sight of issues and resolution to ensure clean and accurate reconciliationsProduce high quality, insightful analysis of revenue and deferred revenue at the customer and product level using Netsuite, Power BI and internal analytics toolsWork closely with FPandA to ensure forecasts are built with the most up-to-date data and insights from the revenue teamTake a lead role in the annual audit, providing data and answering queries from the auditorsBuild and maintain strong expertise in NetSuite and other relevant systemsProvide guidance in accordance with ASC Topic 606 and/or IFRS 15Assist in managing the standalone selling price analysisProvide assistance in drafting revenue recognition polices and memosMaintain process documentation and update as necessaryLead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as neededManage revenue team members and ensure they are being coached and developed to a high standardKnowledge and Experience
5 Years Experience in Revenue/AccountingExperience within SaaS is a plusStrong knowledge of ASC 606 requiredCPA with Big 4 experience preferredEducation
