Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Senior Manager Financial Reporting on behalf of an exciting and growing business within the media sector. Working closely with a dynamic and highly regarded Finance Director, you will play a key role in leading the financial reporting function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and compliance across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, creative and commercially driven environment.Responsibilities:Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.Prepare and review statutory accounts.Manage the year-end audit and external auditor relationships.Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.Drive improvements to financial reporting processes and controls.Support key business and strategic initiatives.Lead and develop a small finance team.Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.Requirements:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential.You will also have:Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.Experience within a medium to large business environment.Previous people management experience.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A proactive and hands-on approach. ..... full job details .....
