Lead the implementation of Carlsberg’s EHS standards across UK production sites, ensuring alignment with global strategies and consistency in executionAct as a strategic partner to site leadership, driving legal compliance, continuous improvement, and a proactive safety cultureDevelop and deliver site-specific EHS strategies, managing audits, assessments, and adherence to ISO standardsOversee EHS budgets and resource planning, ensuring effective allocation across production functionsDrive operational excellence through integrated EHS systems, certifications, and thorough incident investigationsPromote a strong safety culture through training, leadership programmes, and collaboration across UK and Group EHS teamsMonitor and report EHS performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvementProvide expert support on OPEX and CAPEX projects, including contractor management and crisis responseMaintain regular field presence for inspections, coaching, and emergency preparedness across production sitesRepresent UK production in EHS forums, supporting strategic alignment and sharing best practices across locationsExperience and Key Attributes:
Formal qualification or equivalent experience in Safety and Health Management, with professional industry membership4–7 years in a senior EHS role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing, with strong leadership in matrix organisationsDeep understanding of UK EHS legislation, ISO standards, and current safety trendsProven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the businessStrong track record of driving improvement initiatives and delivering safety projects to completionExperience in safety coaching and behavioural safety programmesStrategic thinker with the ability to manage complexity and lead through othersResilient, calm under pressure, and committed to continuous improvement and high integrityThis is an exciting time to join our newly formed business – with their incredible individual history’s, innovation of products and some of the UK’s most iconic brands, Carlsberg Britvic strives to deliver the best service to our customers and consumers.
