We’re looking for an exceptional tax professional to lead direct tax compliance across our diverse and growing portfolio of entities and jurisdictions. As Senior Manager - Direct Taxes, you’ll be at the forefront of navigating UK and international tax complexities, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and shaping strategic tax initiatives. This role reports directly to the Director of Group Tax and Advisory and will see you managing a talented team of three direct tax specialists.What You’ll Do

Lead compliance for all statutory tax returns and filings, including Corporate Tax, WHT returns, Transfer Pricing documentation, CbC reporting and Pillar 2.Oversee tax accounting, ensuring accurate provisions and disclosures in line with accounting standards.Strengthen our tax framework, implementing robust internal controls and driving process improvements.Deliver strategic advisory support on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, entity eliminations, and other corporate transactions.What You’ll Bring

CTA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.Extensive experience in senior tax roles within a large multinational or Big 4 firm.In-depth knowledge of UK corporate and international tax laws.Expertise in MandA-related tax matters.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.Strategic mindset with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Why Markerstudy Insurance?
