Senior Manager, Communications

Overview

STACK is currently looking for a Senior Manager, Communications, to join our EMEA team. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering STACK’s communications, content, and public relations strategy across the region. You will drive the development of high-impact messaging that strengthens our brand presence, engages key stakeholders, and supports the company’s continued growth across European markets.Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and execution of integrated communications, content, and PR strategies aligned with business objectivesLead the creation of relevant and timely content to support strategic initiatives, client engagement, and local stakeholder and community relationsCONTENTProduce high-quality written content, including thought leadership articles, press releases, case studies, white papers, blogs, brochures, social media posts, RFP responses, speeches, video scripts, and internal communications—ensuring consistency with brand voiceDevelop and manage a strategic content calendar in collaboration with internal subject matter expertsConduct internal interviews and research to inform content development and ensure relevanceProvide guidance to Events and Design teams on communications-related activities to ensure brand alignment and clarityMonitor industry trends and regional dynamics to shape content strategy and messagingCollaborate with Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs and Strategy and Development teams to support community engagementPartner with the Social Impact and Sustainability team to support go-to-market strategies for related initiativesWork with HR to align content with employer branding objectivesPUBLIC RELATIONSBuild and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, including national, international, trade, and business pressManage the full lifecycle of PR activities across multiple European markets—from content development and distribution to media outreach, interviews, and follow-ups, both directly and via external agenciesIdentify and pursue media opportunities to elevate brand visibility and executive leadership profilesOversee relationships with external PR agencies and ensure alignment with STACK’s communications goalsLead the development and execution of crisis communications plans, providing strategic counsel and support as neededINTERNAL SUPPORTDevelop and maintain a media training program for senior leadershipSupport the Executive Management Team and other spokespeople in preparing for speaking engagements, including crafting talking points, coaching, and background researchCreate localized content tailored to regional markets, ensuring it aligns with the overarching brand voiceManage media monitoring tools to track relevant coverage and update keywords as neededReview media alerts and share relevant insights internallyProvide regular engagement and performance reports on social media and media coverage across EMEAProduce media analysis reports to inform strategy and support continuous improvementSkills and Qualifications

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilitiesProven copywriting expertise, ideally within the technology sector; experience in the data center industry is preferredFamiliarity with media monitoring tools such as MeltwaterExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProactive, team-oriented mindset with a high degree of flexibility and attention to detailStrong vendor management and negotiation skillsFluent in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Italian, French, Spanish, or German is a plusComfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional, and matrixed environmentsBackground in content development, journalism, and/or corporate communicationsEstablished media relationships within European business and technology pressStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsWillingness and ability to travel as ..... full job details .....
