Senior Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is pleased to be working in partnership with an established and growing UK business on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant. You''ll have the opportunity to understand the business, challenge performance, improve processes and work closely with the Finance Director across a range of financial and commercial priorities. The opportunity Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you''ll take ownership of the management accounting function and play an important role in providing the financial information and insight needed to support continued growth. Your responsibilities will include: Taking ownership of the monthly management accounts and month-end close Producing PandL, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting Budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow forecasting Providing analysis and commentary around performance, variances and trends Supporting working capital management and wider financial planning Maintaining strong financial controls and reconciliations Supporting year-end, audit and VAT requirements Overseeing monthly payroll processes Working closely with operational teams to understand financial performance Identifying ..... full job details .....
