Senior Management Accountant

SF Partners are delighted to be working with an ambitious medium-sized business based in West Bromwich to recruit a Senior Management Accountant into their finance team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and wants to be involved in more than just month-end reporting. The business is well-established, growing steadily and offers the chance to work closely with senior finance and operational teams.The role will suit a Management Accountant who is comfortable taking ownership of monthly accounts, reporting, analysis and supporting the wider business with useful financial insight.Key responsibilities:• Prepare monthly management accounts• Produce variance analysis and commentary• Support budgeting and forecasting• Manage accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations• Assist with cash flow reporting and financial planning• Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to explain performance• Support process improvements across finance• Assist with year-end and audit requirements• Provide ad hoc analysis for senior managementThe successful candidate will:• Have experience producing management accounts• Be qualified or qualified by experience• Have strong Excel skills• Be confident working with finance and non-finance teams• Be hands-on, accurate and able to meet deadlines• Have experience within an SME or medium-sized business environmentThis is a strong opportunity for someone looking to join a stable business where they can take ..... full job details .....
