This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, partner with key stakeholders across the business, and provide valuable financial insight to support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met. Produce detailed variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insight and challenge where appropriate. Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records. Monitor cash flow and support working capital management. Assist with statutory accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
