This is a fantastic opportunity for an for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated management accountant who has a keen interest in supporting and developing a finance team and supporting on internal projects to improve efficiencies within the high-performing finance department.Client DetailsOur client is a highly reputable Hospitality Group with a presence across all of Scotland. They have a head office based in the heart of Edinburgh City. The role will be predominantly office based due to the nature of projects, however, WFH will be available. DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities: Preparation and review of management accounts for several of the venues, analysing the financial performance and providing meaningful commentary.Supporting finance team with queries from suppliersSupporting finance team with finance related queries from operational team and venue management, ensuring end of week variances are fully investigated, followed up on and reported to relevant parties.Preparation, review and submission of quarterly VAT returns for the estateResponsible for the accounting preparation, VAT submission and year end accounts for smaller connected business entitiesProcessing, monitoring and reporting on head office expense management systemSupporting energy consumption agendaWorking closely with ..... full job details .....
