Senior Management Accountant

Career Moves is partnering exclusively with a leading international professional services business to recruit an experienced Senior Management Accountant. This is an initial temporary opportunity with the potential to become permanent, offering the chance to take ownership of month-end reporting, multi-entity consolidations, group reporting and project accounting within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance and driving month-end excellence across the organisation. PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE - CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED ON A SHORT NOTICE Key Duties Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely production of management accounts. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll and intercompany entries. Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Produce variance analysis and provide commentary on key financial movements. Support multi-entity reporting, consolidations and intercompany reconciliations. Manage foreign currency accounting, including revaluations and FX adjustments. Assist with the preparation of group reporting packs for senior management. Support project accounting activities, ensuring revenue, costs and WIP are accurately reported.
