Senior Management Accountant

We are delighted to be supporting a growing, commercially focused business with the appointment of a Senior Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or finalist accountant to join an established Finance function in a role offering broad exposure across management accounts, financial reporting, working capital, forecasting and business partnering. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial information is produced while working closely with colleagues across the wider business. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, PandL analysis and period-end ledger controls. Taking ownership of monthly Group reporting and consolidation requirements. Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete and appropriately reviewed. Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with budget holders to understand financial requirements and proposals. Acting as a key point of contact between Finance and the wider business on departmental PandLs, cost centres and overhead queries. Managing the procurement and cost-control process, working with budget holders to identify opportunities to improve profitability. Preparing short-term cash flow forecasts and supporting effective working capital management. Supporting the weekly supplier payment process and monitoring cash requirements. ..... full job details .....
