Senior Logistics and Freight Operations Specialist (Hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 days wfh - after probation passed)Reports to Operations Manager / Logistics Director About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics and Freight Operations Specialist to manage international freight movements across air, ocean and road freight while delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. The successful candidate will oversee complex import, export and cross-trade shipments, negotiate freight rates, support commercial tenders and RFQs, manage customs compliance, and work closely with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics solutions. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex logistics challenges and has experience managing high-value, time-critical shipments. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end international freight movements across air, ocean and road.(including Project Freight) • Coordinate import, export and cross-trade shipments. • Produce all required shipping documentation including: Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills,Customs dox, Certificates of Origin and Insurance documentation.• Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with international regulations. • Negotiate freight rates and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers and overseas partners. • Prepare RFQs, tenders and quotations. • Liaise ..... full job details .....
