Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer with strong skills in, Linux, Red Hat, Bash scripting and expereince of workign within High Performance research computer is urgently needed for our prestigious Russell Group London University client.

You''ll be working at the heart of a research-focused IT team, supporting and migrating critical Linux-based infrastructure that underpins scientific and academic computing.

andbull; Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
andbull; Hands-on knowledge of Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu
andbull; Proficiency in Bash scripting
andbull; Experience in research computing environments or HPC
andbull; Previous experience working in Higher Education or academic institutions
andbull; Comfortable working on both day-to-day support and infrastructure migration projects

Responsibilities

andbull; Providing 2nd/3rd-line Linux system support (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
andbull; Leading or contributing to migration projects across Linux environments
andbull; Supporting and maintaining HPC and research computing clusters
andbull; Working closely with academic users to understand and meet their technical needs
andbull; Scripting and automating tasks using Bash and shell scripting
andbull; Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting systems for performance and stability

Pay rate- andpound;500-andpound;600pday inside IR35-DOE - 3 Months intially with scope to extendandnbsp;
Hybrid workinG with 3-4 days on site per week in central London
