As the
Senior Legal Operations Manager , your role is to enable a smart, efficient, and scalable legal function. You’ll bring clarity and structure to how legal advice is delivered across the business by introducing best-in-class systems, managing legal spend, and streamlining workflows. You’ll be the go-to expert on legal tech, team operations, outside counsel management, and internal reporting. If you thrive at the intersection of law, tech, and business operations, this is your role.Responsibilities
Build and implement a legal operations strategy to support a global in-house legal teamLead the selection and roll-out of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and create a business-focused records taxonomyOversee engagement with external law firms – tracking spend, managing authorisations, and measuring performanceSupport budgeting, KPI tracking, and reporting for the Legal departmentHelp coordinate internal team development, professional training compliance, and legal team activitiesAct as the key liaison between Legal and other business functions to streamline cross-functional workflows and reduce riskEssentials for interview
3-5 years of experience working in-house at a global company in a legal operations roleExperience implementing legal technology and associated systems and processesExcellent academicsA pragmatic and process-driven approach to tasks and reportingBehavioural competencies
High levels of personal organisation and time managementA consensual and collaborative approach to work and relationship buildingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA commitment to YouGov valuesNice-to-have
