Senior Legal Counsel, Global Investment Management Firm

Overview

Our client is a leading Global Investment Management firm seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support the investment, operational and governance activities of the firm, working within a small and busy in-house team.Responsibilities

Reviewing, negotiating and advising on contracts related to investing and trading in public markets and securities (e.g., counterparty terms of business, trading master agreements, securities lending agreements and custody agreements).Occasionally advising on transactions relating to private investments.Reviewing, negotiating and advising on a broad range of service provider contracts relating to the firm’s operations, infrastructure and technology framework.Providing ad-hoc regulatory advice as required.Qualifications

A solicitor with 7+ years post-qualification experience.In-house experience in financial services, ideally on the buyside.Experience in capital markets or with counterparties would be advantageous.Strong academic background (at least a Bachelor’s degree), with solicitor training completed in a top-tier law firm.About the firm
