Senior Legal Counsel Contracts Location: London, Norges Bank Investment Management Salary: Competitive Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full-time NBIM Legal and Tax is NBIM s centralised legal function. It assists and advises all NBIM business areas on their legal and tax requirements in respect of NBIM s organisation and its investment activities. The Contracts team is the area within NBIM Legal and Tax providing legal support across a broad range of contract and transaction types, including derivatives, repurchase agreements, securities lending, custody, prime brokerage, and external investment management. The Contracts team also advises on data, technology, and service contracts. The team has five lawyers working closely with internal teams across our offices in Oslo, London, and New York. NBIM is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with strong derivatives and securities financing experience to join the Contracts team in NBIM Legal and Tax. The position will be based in London and will report to the Head of the Contracts team in Legal and Tax. Travel will be required at times. International assignments to other NBIM offices may also be relevant depending on business needs.
