A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Cashier to join its friendly Finance team in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal finance professional who has strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules / SRA Accounts Rules and is comfortable working at a senior level within a fast-paced legal environment. You''ll work closely with the Head Cashier and Finance Team Manager, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department while also providing guidance to more junior members of the team. The role will include: • Processing daily legal finance transactions, including payments and receipts • Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate ledgers • Reconciling control accounts • Assisting with the supervision and smooth running of the Legal Cashier team • Supporting and providing guidance to junior finance colleagues • Handling and resolving more complex internal finance queries • Maintaining files, ledgers and financial processes • Ensuring continued compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and SRA requirements • Supporting improvements to legal accounting systems and finance processes where required What we''re looking for: • At least 4 years'' experience within legal finance/legal cashiering • ..... full job details .....
